Regional Anaesthesia
Fellowship at Nottingham

12 month post. August start date

Post advert usually in October the year before, interview in December/January

Out or in - programme fellowship

6 month 'Advanced Regional Module' is available for those unable to commit to a year long fellowship

Theatre based learning - upper limb, lower limb, trunk blocks. Continuous perineural catheter techniques. Ultrasound assisted neuraxial blocks. Mix of elective orthopaedic caseload at City Hospital and emergency trauma cases at Queen's Medical Centre.

Assist in running local and national courses, block clubs, anatomy and exam tutorials and clinical teaching in theatres.

Research is supported and fellows are encouraged to present posters and papers at RA-UK, ESRA and AAGBI, previous fellows have produced multiple publications.

Gain management experience through service development, National events Organisation, audit, protocol review, etc.
